Initiated Ecom Express private limited
2013
Begun the deliveries with 300 plus employees and with 42 Delivery centres. They also began their services in Jammu and Kashmir, Southern regions. Expanded 100 plus service areas as well.
2014
Their services expanded to cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Kanyakumari. They also expanded their network with over 1300 employees. And have around 300 plus centres. The company received an investment of over 17 million US Dollars from Peepul Capital.
2015
Covered deliveries across the country through surface transportation. Expanded their service all over India, and also covered full-state delivery to the states like Haryana, Delhi and Goa. They have around 7400 plus employees with 650 plus delivery centres. They had investments for over 133 million US Dollars from Warburg Pincus.
2016
Full-state coverage delivery was made possible in states like Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. They covered even the remote places in the northeastern parts. The number of employees increased to over 14000 with 1200 plus delivery centres. This covers almost more than 1000 towns. The logistics company has launched its first fulfilment centre and pickup processing hub in Bilaspur, Haryana.
2017
The fulfilment centres have been opened in Bangalore, Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata. They reached 60 per cent of the Indian population deliveries as they covered full-state deliveries to West Bengal, Maharashtra, Punjab, Bihar and Gujarat.
2018
Ecom Digital Service was initiated this year, they expanded their service in Kerala. 16 fulfilment centres were opened. And full-state coverage was made possible for 20 states. And delivering service reached nearly 92 per cent of India’s population. The number of employees increased to over 19000 with over 2500 delivery centres across 2400 cities and towns in India.
2019
Reached 21 fulfilment centres and achieved more than 100 crores as revenue. The investment was received for 36 million US Dollars from CDC Group.
2020
The largest automated sorter was established in Bilaspur, Haryana.
2021
Extended the delivery service out of the country by third-party logistics.
