Journey of Pepperfry

The company started its journey as an online market that, focuses on fashion and style and two years later it shifted its stream to furniture and home décor. And in April 2013, they had funding of 8 million US Dollars from Norwest members. Again, in May 2014, the budget was for 15 million US Dollars by the Norwest members.

The first studio launch was in December 2014 at Kanjumarg, Mumbai, India. In July 2015, the funding was raised to 100 million by Norwest members. In March 2016, the largest furniture house in the country was established – Padgha Warehouse.

In the same year during September, the funding was done for 30 million US Dollars. In March 2018, the fund was by State Street Global Advisors for 31.5 million US Dollars. By January 2019 they had completed orders for over 6 million customers.
