Flipkart has introduced new benchmarks for seller performance, which will help assess their performance based on various parameters such as product quality, delivery speed, and customer service.
The new benchmarks will be more stringent than the previous ones, and sellers will need to meet them to maintain their current tier or move up to a higher tier.
The new benchmarks will also include the following:
1. Product Quality
Sellers will need to maintain a minimum product rating of 4.0 out of 5.0 to be eligible for the standard tier.
2. Delivery Speed
Sellers must maintain a minimum on-time delivery rate of 95% to be eligible for the standard tier.
3. Customer Service
Sellers will need to maintain a minimum customer service rating of 4.0 out of 5.0 to be eligible for the standard tier.
Changes in Seller Tiering:
Flipkart has also made some changes to its seller tiering system. The new system will have Three tiers, which are as follows:
1. Standard
Sellers in this tier will need to meet the new benchmarks to maintain their status.
2. Bronze
Sellers who meet the new benchmarks and have a minimum of 30 successful orders per month will be eligible for this tier.
3. Gold
Gold sellers will receive additional benefits such as exclusive access to new features and programs, and priority customer support.
